Men's Omega Centenary in 18ct yellow gold. Gold dial with applied arrow markers and Arabic numerals with sub-dial for seconds at 6. Automatic chronometer movement. 35mm 'big case' version with Omega signed crown and press fit case back. Brand new leather strap. A very rare watch produced in 1948 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Omega manufacturing. This watch also features the first chronometer rated automatic movement produced by Omega that was also the thinnest automatic movement in the world at that time. This was also a very expensive watch in its day, retailing for an astronomical $450 in the US in 1948. This piece of Omega history comes with 12 months guarantee from BVW.
